The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome show returns to the NEC on 18th February and world-famous street artist Paris is set to add something new as he customises one of the caravans during a live painting session.
On Tuesday 18th February, visitors to the UK’s largest consumer show will be able to witness the live painting of the Basecamp 2 within the NEC.
Having painted locally, nationally and internationally, Paris is a UK based street artist known for his iconic design of Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto tour and album cover, the band’s stage for the Olympics closing ceremony and annual involvement in the Park area at Glastonbury Festival.
Bringing something new to the show, he will be pushing the boundaries of creativity and adding an infusion of colour to the NEC.
Simon McGrath, of The Camping and Caravanning Club, said: “We’re really excited to see what Paris creates with the Basecamp at this year’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show. He will be using his incredible talent to create a uniquely-designed piece of artwork that will certainly stand out on any campsite. The Basecamp will become quite a collector’s piece, not to mention a fantastic base from which to enjoy many camping holidays.”
Set across five halls of the NEC; the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show offers the UK’s largest display of leisure vehicles, static holiday homes, lodges, tents and so much more, giving holidaymakers and adventurers all the inspiration and gear they need for their upcoming escapades.
Alongside the vast array of leisure vehicles, tents accessories, kit and equipment, the show will also feature some of its fan-favourite feature areas and there’s plenty of family-friendly activities from climbing to crazy golf and much more.
