Inspired by the aesthetics of modern luxury homes, the company specialises in crafting bespoke van conversions that prioritise comfort, style, and innovation. Their signature features include painted cabinetry, bespoke wood finishes, and thoughtfully designed interiors that bring the principles of interior design to the campervan world.
Vanlife Conversions’ high-spec builds incorporate advanced technologies, such as Starlink for optimal connectivity, gasless electrical setups, and domestic-inspired kitchens with ovens, enabling a home-away-from-home experience.
Personalisation is at the heart of their process. Whether it’s creating tailored electrical systems, designing mood boards and colour schemes, or installing unique features like pull-out piano keyboards, the team collaborates closely with clients to deliver vans that perfectly suit their lifestyle and aspirations. Their award-winning customer service ensures clients can track their campervan's progress through a dedicated client portal, featuring regular photo and video updates.
Founded by a military veteran with a passion for British craftsmanship and problem-solving, Vanlife Conversions prides itself on precision, resilience, and meticulous attention to detail. "We’re delighted to exhibit at this iconic event and showcase how van conversions can be both practical and elegant," said Oliver Arnold, Founder of Vanlife Conversions. "Our goal is to broaden the vision of what’s possible in a campervan, offering an alternative for those seeking freedom with a modern, homely touch. Our clients range from weekend adventurers in the UK to remote workers travelling long-term around Europe."
Visitors to the Vanlife Conversions stand (Hall 1 - 1056a) can explore an example of "Kunu," their most popular layout. Key features of the van at the show include:
- Versatile Living: A full-sized fixed bed and flexible seating area which transforms from a bench to dining mode or a small third bed. The layout also includes a shower room doubling as a drying space, a full kitchen, and an expansive garage.
- Advanced Technology: A cutting-edge electrical system powered by 48v Lithium batteries, 620W solar panels, a 6000VA Victron Multi-RS inverter charger, and a 1500W Scotty AI DC-DC converter. This allows for gasless cooking utilising an induction hob and air fryer all powered by self-sufficient means, enhancing the amount of time that can be spent off-grid
- Interior Design: A warm and welcoming aesthetic featuring cottage-inspired real tiles, deep blue cabinetry with brass handles, wood worktops, and a marble-effect shower room.
Adding a personal touch, each conversion is given a unique name by its new owners. On display at the show is "Gus," named after the owner’s late dog who loved mountain walks and adventure. Gus represents more than a campervan—it’s a symbol of new beginnings and the boundless opportunities accompanying the van owner’s recent retirement.
The National Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show has long been the main event of the year for enthusiasts seeking inspiration and solutions for life on the road. Vanlife Conversions’ participation this year adds a fresh approach to the event, bridging tradition with the future of mobile living.
